BF question for a friend...day 1 in hospital if you exclusively pump..
if you decide to exclusively pump, what does your baby eat after delivery? Do you bring pump to hospital? does the baby have formula until milk comes in? Can she pump the colustrum? I never pumped, and have no idea what to tell her. I figured you experts would know how this works!

the hospital will supply a pump and I strongly recommend renting a hospital pump. It is sooooo much better then the ones you can buy in the stores.
and tell her to ask to see an LC from the time she gets to the hospital

I agree. The hospital pumps are so much better. They will give her a start kit as well.
