I have gotten a few pairs of Calvin Klein performance leggings at Ross Dress for Less. They are a bit thicker and hold their shape with a zipper at the ankle.
I would look also at Modells b/c they had some workout leggings that were also a bit thicker.
I notice that some of the ones from Target stretch out so fast after a few hours of wearing.

i love the leggings at express and ny&co. they fit great and you definitely can not see through them! so comfy too

I love LNA brand leggings. I am petite and I find the length on these are best (less bagging at the ankle than most leggings). Not see-through at all.

These 2 are my favorite because not only aren't they see-thru, but they also don't pinch my waist and create a bigger muffin top!
I also wear the newport news leggings and the regular VS ones (non-pink).
For shinier leggings, I like the cheapies from Wet Seal. They're surprisingly decent.

I LOVE Hue leggings! They aren't see thru and very comfy. Macys has a bunch of different styles from Hue.

I love these as well. I got some Style and Co ones last year and they didn't hold up well - I like the Hue ones much better.

For the most part no, like someone looking at your legs in them wouldnt think "oh shes got shiney leggings" lol but if you are looking at them up close then yes they shine a little becuase of the material stretching to fit your legs.
They are worth checking out bc they make different styles and different makes of fabric. All of which are comfortable. You wont be let down.

i only wear the ones from forever21 ($4.50) u cant see thru them.
theres diff kinds though. mine are cotton and thick.
