Best BBQ restaurant in NYC?
DH and I want to go for our 5th anniversary. We figure it is the year of wood, so we would go have a wood smoked meal. Any suggestions? We have been to Brother Jimmy's, and want to try something different.

I am a huge fan of Dinosaur BBQ. Its on 125 and riverside. Its always crazy busy so you will have to wait unless you get a reservation.

I agree with all of the places the PPs mentioned. Cowgirl is also really good. I used to go there all the time and then walk to Magnolia Bakery for banana pudding!!

great prices and the BEST WINGS EVER!!!
We use to live on the UES, and we would drive further uptown to Fairway bc they had a parking lot ( right across the Street & then go to Lunch at Dinosaur BBQ!!! I loved going grocery shopping...just for that reason. I have tried most BBQ places in the city...and would rather go to Dinosaur.
