Below Deck
I love Below Deck!!
Captain Lee is the bomb and I wish I had an extra 100,000 sitting around so I can sail with him. I think Kate is great and I hate how everyone is always talking about her saying she's mean and such. She's doing a job keeping the whole boat working together and doesn't have time for all the BS. Hannah is good but no where near the level of Kate. She would make a good 2nd Stew to Kate. I don't like Captain Sandy at all. I think she favors the boys and is not nice to the interior at all. I mean that whole BS about the table settings. She's the captain, tell Hannah that's what she expects at the beginning of the season, not after like 8 charters when Hannah was doing it the same all the time. She gets to involved and she should just stay up in her Captain's Chair.
Colin is from Sayville and I think June June Hannah is also from Long Island.

I like captain sandy but I completely agree with you! She 100% favors the boys! I think she’s hard on Hannah and if Hannah was captain Lees first stew she would be long gone IMO
I love love love Kate! I think the girls are so mean to her because they are lazy! She’s there to make tips and do a good job not be anyone’s BFF
I can’t wait for next weeks episode!!
That proposal last night was beautiful and that ring omg! I died when Kate started clearing the table lol

I'm late to the game so I'm way behind on these shows but I did read about the incident.
All I will say is I cannot stand Kate.
From the first season she was on, I hated her.
Her nasty face, her thinking she is superior to everyone, everything about her makes the show almost unwatchable for me.
If I were a charter guest on a yacht, I would NOT want her serving me.
She just seems like a major major bitchh.
She acts like she's above being in the service industry.
I literally am almost giving up on the show because of her.
I watched all the Med seasons first and while Hannah had a lot of issues, she is a freaking DOLL compared to this one.
Night and day.
And maybe I'm the only one but I was shocked when I found out her age. I thought she was at least in her 40s on season 2. And she was like 29 that season. Maybe being a bitchh ages you

I totally disagree with you : ). Yes I think Kate is a ***** but she needs to be a little bitchy to do her job. She is always good with the guests and she keeps that boat moving. The most important things on that charter is her teams service and the food. They always give her staff that can not do the job and I'm sure it is frustrating because even though they are filming, they are still working. I think all these young people have no respect for authority. There is no way in hell I would ever talk to my boss the way they talk to Kate and complaining about everything. I also think that Ashton is an ass and needs to get some control over his staff. I don't care how much they hate Kate, he needs to keep his staff under control and to keep their mouths shut. Learn to respect the position.

I'm not that far into the Kate seasons, but I have seen guests say they think she hates them, tell her to smile more, talk about her resting bitchh face,etc.
I feel like she thinks she is superior to the guests who are paying good money to be served by her.
But again, I'm not far into the show yet so maybe she changes.
I just find her horrible and difficult to look at at times as well.

I love kate but she seems off this season. Not sure what it is. She moved to NYC after they filmed this season so maybe she was going through something??

Maybe. I think she has always been rail thin, but this season she seems very skinny. She also looks like she injected her face and lips. I always thought she might have some kind of eating disorder going on, which is why she might look older than she is (regarding Nells previous statement)

Her bottom jaw always makes me stare. I don't know if it is because maybe botox? Or she is an extreme teeth grinder?
Am I the only one who wonders what is going on there?
and the whole Tanner/simone situation... I know they are consenting adults but do they have to show what goes on??
and thank God there was one free week of not hearing someone puking or crapping themselves....

Idk I’m on Kates side. No one in the group had anything negative to say until the Chef started talking about her to other people and rallying them against her.
Ashton is inappropriate and a tyrant, i feel like he is sexist. He tried to shove his tongue down her throat which is gross and borderline sexual harassment. Gets rejected and then blows up in her face about something non trivial. I’m glad she stood up for herself. His crew member Brian calls her a b!tch, unwarranted and when she was giving him a compliment. I was hoping she didn’t come back and they all fell flat on their face. And Brian’s girlfriend /3rd stew is so boring and stuck up. She should’ve opened her mouth and stood up for Kate a little more. She is a waste of space this season.

So I got into Below Deck late in the game. I went back and watched the first season and now im on season two which is Kate's first. She says repeatedly over and over how if she is still doing this in 5 years they need to shoot her. Then when new episodes come on i flip over to that and see Kate, 5 years later still doing it. Just thought it was funny. I wonder how much longer she will keep at it -- maybe as long as the show is on the air

Exactly. Plus, the money is really good. These reality tv celebs make tons of money being on the show plus then make more money for making appearances, etc. Kate lives in NYC now. I'm sure she is finding ways to make money aside from being a chief stew.
