DD will be 4 mos next week and is still on stage 1. I will be weaning (bfing) as well and will prob switch her to next level soon.

I did it when she was a month and a half. She is a big baby though and I could tell she was struggling when eating. It made such a huge difference. If you think they might be ready I suggest trying it out you can always go back. At first they will drip a bit until they get used to the faster flow.

thanks....Matthew is using the Avent bottles, and is when on Stage 1 he doesnt struggle., just takes a long time to eat. I tried the satge 2, but he was it was dripping all over his face.
