Avalon Communities* Anyone ever try to get out of a lease?
We are tired of spending more than a mortgage for out apartment. Anyone have any experience with trying to break a lease with Avalon communities? Any advice would be helpful ! Thank you !!!

when we considered them they just had a fee that was listed in the lease agreement. you had to pay it and that was it. check your lease
I have heard in recent months though, they wouldn't let you out of your lease until your unit was rented and it states that in your lease as well.

we got our of a lease...with a rental community bc we threatened to call news 12 about the drug dealers living above us that they refused to do anything about.

I think it says the amount to pay and that we cant get out until it is rented, but it is written in complete gibberish so I am not sure

OMG !! The only problem we have is someone smokes next door and out apartment always smells like cigs and they said nothing they can to but change the vent filters. We tried to call maintenance and got nowhere. They never return calls or finish work orders.

Yea, I'm going to show it to my father first, then if he doesnt understand it ( he should) Ill have him show his lawyer. I hope I can get out of it : ( we pay so much and I hate that we could have a smaller mortgage payment. I wonder how long it could take to rent..ugh I knew it was a bad idea lol
