Augh...I have a horrible head ache..

...and i'm 12 weeks pregnent.. anything I can do to make it better...? I got 2 hours left of work and tons of running around to do afterwards...

I had horrendous migraines around that time. My neurologist told me to take Excedrin Tension, but NOT Excedrin Migraine or Excedrin Extra Strength, those have aspirin. Check the label- excedrin tension has acetaminophen(aka tylenol) and Caffeine.

Here's what helped me: per my OB's suggestion I drank a big cup of hot caffenated tea w/ sugar, as I lay on my couch with one of those herbal material packs from the mall (that u heat in the microwave) around my entire eyes/forehead. Helped me every time!

I've always gotten bad migraines, but with the pregnancy I feel they are more sinus headaches. What I have been doing is getting husband to boil a large pot of water and pour it in a plugged sink. Take a towel and put it over your head as you lean over the sink and breath in the steam. It has been helping so much. My MIL also bought me this eucalyptus oil that I dab on my temples.

that happened to me a lot in the first trimester...finally i went to the OB to get my blood pressure checked out and it was fine, but the nurse said I could take 2 Tylenol and drink a caffeinated beverage....so I did and it was much better It's ok to do that, you don't have to suffer!
