DD has this on her infant seat. Is this what you are looking for? It very safe as it goes over the seat and not under or obstruct any belts... Image Attachment(s):

yes this type of thing is what im looking for but more for a toddler's car seat instead of an infant car seat....I know bundle me makes one but like you said i dont want anything that would interfere w the straps etc of the seat itself maybe ill change the title on the post to the attn of CarSeatChris bc he would probably know
