Eh...I don't know. He LOVES Ella Jayne. Pretty much dead set on it.....I'm just not sure.

It is very pretty. What about Ella as a middle name? That name is beautiful as a first or middle name.

I think Ella is very pretty, but if you aren't "in love" with it, maybe you can try and convince him that you aren't willing to settle on a name, that it should be something you both love....
I know how you feel though, my DH locked in his boy pick as soon as he saw the positive test, and I hate the name, and he isn't budging... MEN!

i would be honest with him (as i am sure you already have been) and keep looking for girl names you love. i also like the idea of using ella as a middle name, or changing jayne to a different middle name.
i think you are right - when you find the name you love you just *know* - that's what happened when DH and i chose the name for

My friend had a baby in December and named her Ella. I think it is a beautiful name.
