Anyone watching the Stanley Tucci series on Italy?
It's SO good!! I am loving seeing all of the beautiful places in Italy and the food!!!!............OMG!!!..............I would be 400 lbs when I came back!! Great series!! If you haven't done so already, check it out. It's on CNN and new episodes premiere on Sunday night.

I cannot wait for normal life so I can finally plan my bucket list trip. I've never been and after this show I'm even more excited to experience Italy. How AMAZING was Bologna??!!!  And I love Massimo Bottura!! If you haven't seen his episode of Chef's Table on Netflix, check it out. He's adorable.

Anyone watching the Stanley Tucci series on Italy?
I love it, been telling everyone I know about it!!! The first two episodes, Napoli and Roma are from where my family is from, so I was especially interested. mI also have always loved Stanley Tucci!

So cool!! I can't get enough of this series. Wish there was more than 6 episodes.

You would think, right? But the last time we were there we actually LOST weight! And we did NOT hold back. We were like gluttonous pigs at the trough just shoveling food down our throats, every single pic we're holding as much food as we can carry  maybe their carbs are magic, or maybe it was because we sweat the carb juices back out in the sweltering heat marching around everywhere lol whatever the magic was I won't complain!
I haven't seen it. I'll have to check it out though!

Yeah! I don't think I lost weight the last time I went to Italy, but I definitely didn't gain any! It was probably just all the walking around for sight-seeing.
I actually want to go on another sight-seeing vacation when we're allowed to travel again. I certainly don't want to go to a tropical island where we're sitting by the pool or beach all day. I've spent the last year sitting on my couch or at my dining room table/desk. I want to get out and walk around on my next vacation!

I'd be happy even just to maintain while on vacation! Coming back home having lost a few pounds while eating all the carbs is just an added bonus
It gets so insanely hot there in the summer that we usually just want to lounge on the beach and do nothing, but we try to get a few days of touring in if/when the heatwave cools down. It's easier for us to tour around in the off season when the weather is less insane and the beach is less appealing anyway. Right now I'd just be happy to get away even if it's to the middle of nowhere to do nothing

Me too!! After the last year, all I want to do is move my body and see things.

yes, after what we've been through, i'm going to start putting together all those dream vacations i've never had the nerve to take. time to live!!
wow, the thought of eating all the things and losing weight!!! that is my definition of heaven.
