anyone use a moving company that will break down your furniture if it does not fit in a door way?

I have been reading online that there are moving companys that will disassemble any couch and get it into the house then assemble when they get it in.

If you saw my previous post. We bought a couch and the delivery company refuse to try to fit it in the door. Not the fault of the seller this is strictly the delivery company that is being a PITA. I am just trying to fig out all avenues to take if we are going to make this couch get in our basement.

The only issue is the side door. It is SO close as far as inches go. Worst case DH is going to take all the door jams off. We just need to get it through a door then it is a straight run into the basement.

The delivery company is going to redeliver to the curb and me and DH is going to TRY. The seller said they would refund our delivery money. Since we ordered GOLD service and it DEF wasnt GOLD LOL!

Any recs of places that breakdown sofas and put them back together. I would rather call someone that I have heard another person has used

I have never personally used this service but i did used to know the guy who runs this company, and if u google the name they have great reviews

We had our 3,000 leather sofa on cragslist because we could not fit it down in our basement!!! Well, I saw this post this morning -- called Furniture Doctor this afternoon and guess what? I am typing this post as I sit on my leather sofa in my basement! This place was amazing!!!!!
