I was worried it was gone for good too! I realized I spend most of my online time cruising these boards. Even though I have fb, I hate it. So without being able to access LIF I didn't know what to do with my online self!
I have to admit I don't understand how to use reddit

Greetings all and sorry for the outage and not getting back to everyone.
The wonderful weather we had the other day caused a surge which took out the power supplies to the server. Of course the replacement wasn't a plug and play (long story). We worked through the night to get the server back up for this morning. Thanks for your understanding!
Phew! Glad to see it back. Lif is like my silent bff.

Those dumb groups, are not at all the same as a forum like this.
They just annoy me

So glad it's not gone for good! I have soooo many recipes on here that I just easily pull up with a quick search.
And I love the relative anonymity of LIF. I just feel like one day FB will wipe out some privacy settings and BAM, all of my parenting / life / etc questions will be right there under my real name for all of my friends & family to see.

Phew So happy to see lif back!! I'm. Not a fan of Facebook either and prefer the anonymity of this format better.
