Anyone know what happened to Rocky Allen on WPLJ?
I listen at work everyday and now in his time slot is Race Taylor
I couldnt find anything on the website about it

According to Wiki:
Due to low ratings, the Rocky Allen Showgram was cancelled on 2/29/08. Race Taylor took over the afternoon drive with music only beginning 3/3/08.

I used to listen to him (until last week), but I thought he had more music and commercials than conversation. It was often annoying. I was often tempted to time his air time versus the time when he wasn't on-air.
I also listened to the Radio Chick. I really like talk radio during my commute. Most music stations have the same stuff all the time, and I don't drive enough to justify Satellite radio. Guess I'll just talk to myself from now on....

Unfortunatly there is not too much job security in radio, DH used to be on the radio and left yrs ago becuase of this. He is now a teacher with security. DH's best friend is on the radio and it took him a long time to get a decent job, and he is always nervous of cuts etc.
