Anyone heard anything about schools closing tomorrow too?

I was just coming on the internet to see if schools will be closed. I'd imagine so because we are supposed to get snow through 6 am with the heaviest tonight...when would they plow???

We just saw on CBS that Rockville Centre and a bunch of New Jersey schools have already closed for tomorrow.

I haven't heard, but I can't see how our schools can open. I'm near an elementary school and there's only been one plow come by for the streets so far today, let alone for the schools. How can they clear all that snow in the am before kids get there? Even with a delayed open I don't see it happening.

Not a school, but I just got an email from our office admin telling us to call in tomorrow morning before coming in to work because we may do another "work from home" day or may have a delayed opening.

I just checked one of the links waterspout4 posted, which has LI/NYC under a blizzard warning with updated totals- 16 inches.
Suburban schools- I say yes. NYC- I would fall over in shock if we got another day.

nassau community college canceled day classes but night classes are not canceled. that and rockville centre are the only schools i have heard about.

Honestly i don't want another snow day (Long Island) The make up day is off the beginning of the April break and I am planning on going away. Now a delayed opening would be great. Still sleep but still go to school

So far I heard RVC, Sacred Heart HS & Pt. Jeff has a 2 hour delay
