if you can't get him the system, buy him a bunch of games or a gift card and I bet the day after Christmas, they'll be available everywhere.

might be able to score one off ebay with a small surcharge (seller will probally break even after fee's)
you should find this in stores hopefully soon as nintendo is geared to get a bunch of these systems in stock.
for now, it probally just be luck as you go to the store and you hope that a shipment comes in when u get there...
calling does nothing as they will not hold it for you (or the person at the desk doesn't even know)
i would try to wait it out

I'm specifically looking for the bundle at Costco, BJs, Sams Club.
We called all 3 this morning, and no one has another shipment yet.

Try EbGames/Funcoland/GameStop. Dh works for them and they are replenishing weekly.

Costco bundle (which is what i got) is the system plus 2 games (zelda and excite truck)
At Costco, you are only saying 10 bucks buy lookly for this bundle...not sure what BJ's and Sams Club offered...
