Anyone else want to vomit reading this?
News flash CPS: If a school is taking the time to write you a letter and express their concerns, there is a REAL EFFING PROBLEM. Might be worth more than a little looksie at the situation. Especially when dad is a cop and knows how to work it. This is sickening.

I couldn’t sleep last night because of this. My youngest has autism so this hit very close to home. I keep crying everytime I think about that poor baby they froze and starved to death. I hope this guy gets serious prison time and then the prisoners will take care of him. What a monster:(. If he didn’t want those kids, why didn’t he let the mother have them?

Anyone else want to vomit reading this?
We have been reading the stories since last night. My heart breaks for that little boy and his siblings. I can't believe another human being could be so viscous to a child, especially their own. I am disgusted with how badly the systems have failed him

The system failed this child in so many ways.
So many people have this child's blood on their hands. Judges, CPS workers. all of them .
They should all be held responsible.
Our system to protect children is a joke.
It's so scary and disturbing.
Does anyone know why the mom did not have custody of the children though? I can't find anything about that. I thought it unusual for a mom not to have custody

There are so many people that failed this poor boy. The judge who was biased against the mother. The judge should be disbarred or whatever they get. The CPS workers for not following up. I think the the school should have fought harder for these kids. They were coming to school starving and covered in urine. Their neighbors...don't tell me you can't heaer night after night people fighting and kids being forced to stay in a garage. Any extended family. So many people just turned a blind eye. I hope they put the father, if you can call him that, in open population so the problem will be solved quickly.

Yes but a judge won't just grant custody to a father over a mother just because the dad is a cop. There has to be more to it. It's rare for kids to be taken away from their mother unless there is a very big underlying reason.
That's what confuses me with this case.

I am sure there has to be something in the mother's past about why she got denied custody but the story that is going around is that the father made accusations against her and the judge did not let her refute them and they were all false. He had no evidence just his word. The judge is known for siding with the police. The mother had a ton of evidence against the father and the judge would not let her present it.

The mom fought to get custody back. The kids were all healthy weights when she was with the dad but lost tons of weight once she lost custody. He had the 2 older kids in pull ups!! He’s a piece of shit and deserves everything that’s coming to him. She reached out the the president of the us to get help. That’s how desperate she was. Everyone turned a blind eye.

so sickening... CPS is underfunded and overwhelmed. Their standards are low also, when we get the mandated reporter talk at school it is always stressed that CPS will not come for subpar care, they're looking for neglect and abuse not optimal parenting :/ it's a shame
my heart breaks for this mom and her sons. i hope the the "dad" and fiance get the same treatment in jail

I have seen this in my own circle... if the father is well connected, controls the wealth in the relationship and has the slightest amount of “dirt” if you will against the mother, he can easily get custody of the children with the right ($$$) lawyer.

Same here. Haven't read anything.
If there was something it can't be much since the other 2 boys are now back with her. Suddenly she isn't a danger to them. Outrageous what she went through.

I guess the father went to my HS b/c they posted the Go Fund me he started for the funeral costs. Right after he died, he started it 2 hours later. Sick *******.
Check out her twitter. she has a video from 2018 posted showing the father squeezing the kids hands so they can't run to her and one of the boys crying and trying to break free. So sad to see this and she has it all documented...

Can you imagine the balls this guy had to post a go fund me? To prey on sympathy for him and the family for monetary gain? He is a depraved person and so is she! How can a MOTHER watch her “fiancée” abuse his kids like that? We’re her kids abused too? Animals!!
As far as the bio mom, I’m sure more is going to come out about the custody proceedings. It takes A LOT for dad to get custody so I am curious to see what the basis of the custody award was. She’s a CO so it can’t be a drug or psych problem. It would have to be abuse allegations, ironically. There is going to be a lot of explaining to do.

I haven't been able to sleep for 2 nights. I'm so sick over this. I understand that parents going through a divorce make false reports, but reports that are coming directly from the school need to be taken seriously. The school should have called the police when the kids were coming in soaked in urine and losing weight like crazy. That is not sub par care, that is abuse. I read they tried to do a home inspection last year and the parents weren't home. So they never came back? Something doesn't add up. How can CPS claim the accusations from the school are "unfounded" if they never did an inspection?
Apparently during the original custody case, the mother kept filing motions on her own behalf and the judge would just throw them out because they weren't filed correctly. She didn't have an attorney. Those court forms are a nightmare for anyone unfamiliar with the court system. Why wasn't she able to find legal help? I can't fathom being in her position. It's an absolute nightmare.

How did he afford all of this? His salary is good but not that good ( unless he and his girlfriend were both getting child support).
Personally I have not heard nice things about him.

I can't imagine that this would be the case. My brother is divorced and on the days he has his daughter, he does not require daycare due to his work schedule and because his wife is a SAHM. The days my ex-SIL has my niece, she needs childcare.
