Anyone else?
Congested and have a cold your 2nd trimester? I cant seem to get rid of all this phlegm and congestion.. does it ever get better?

I was congested for a while last month. I took sudafed nasal decongestant and it worked in like a day or two. Cleared me up and got rid of the headaches it was causing too. Sudafed is on webmd's list of medication you can take while pregnant. Hope this helps!

I have had 4 colds since I've been pregnant and it's miserable! I don't like to take anything while pregnant, I'm too paranoid like that so I just suffered through. I don't have any good suggestions, just wanted to say you're not the only one! I hope you're feeling better soon. I know the colds seem to linger forever due to the weakened immune system while pregnant.

Yes; and it's the worst because I don't like to take anything so like Sparrow I suffer through it. I drink LOTS of Orange Juice and take Vitamin C. I use the saline nasal spray and just try to get as much rest as possible.

I am not sick but have congestion in my nose and when its not congested its running so much and when I blow there's so much blood but not a bloody nose.
Its worse at night and it causes my bad headaches.
Its bad. I don't take anything for it just tylanol for the headaches.

Ugh ... Me. Going on a week and a half. I can't shake it. I'm so congested it's awful.
I'm trying to go the natural route as well, but clearly it's not helping!!

I was just sick for 2 1/2 weeks. It was awful. I finished antibiotics tues and finally starting to feel better. Hope you feel better soon!

I had a bad bought of congestion twice now during pregnancy. My doctor told me I could take one sudafed a day, so I did that each time for about 3 days, and it nipped the congestion in the bud.
Otherwise, I tend to get sinus/ear infections and bronchitis and end up on a nebulizer, so my doctor preferred for me to take the sudafed to prevent anything from getting worse.
My doctor also said that regular Claritin was ok, but I needed the decongestant part of the Sudafed.
