Anyone doing anything special for Valentine's Day?
I'm trying to get some ideas!

I'll probably just make a nice dinner at home since it's during the week and DH doesn't get home till almost 7pm.
we don't usually exchange extravagant gifts, but I want to get him something really nice this year. he's been so good to me

Probably go to dinner, but not on Valentines day. We are going skiing for a week a few days after, so I guess that is what we are doing.

We had a weekend in A.C. booked with a couples spa day, but we cancelled it and are going to FL for the week.

DH is going to be working in Germany so I will be alone- although my parents or friends will probably take me out somewhere since I will be in a slump
GOOD news is that the 15th I leave for Germany to go see him!

we are going out w/ friends (something different) for a dinner party -- we always do something alone and since money is tight we never really get to go out for a "nice" dinner with friends so this year, as our "v-day night out" we figured we would go with friends to a great place - we picked PRIME in huntington  an amazing (so i've heard) steakhouse!! we are so excited. we are not going ON v-day so we'll still do something romantic at home alone - quiet... and then we'll go that weekend.

My DH works midnights, so he'll be working...maybe we'll go out to dinner over the weekend (before probably as we are going to my brothers the following weekend).

we are hosting a valentines couple dinner party on the 23rd at our house, so everyone can do whatever their usual is the weekend closest to v-day. I'm coming up with the menu now, trying to do red foods & love type foods.

Our typical tradition is to eat Burger King for dinner (disgusting I know, but there is a long story behind it).
This year in addition to BK, we are finding out the sex of our little bun in the oven!!!

We normally go out to eat but we're staying in this year...I'm on crutches so my DH is going to cook dinner and we're going to rent a good movie!
