The Saltzman Center at Hofstra has an excellent rep. I used to work at Hofstra and ALOT of administrators brought their kids there. When I inquired last spring, I was told it was $1,750/month (up to 3 years old I think) for five days/week and there was a waiting list. I remember employees having their unborn children on the waiting list, I don't know if that's omething they still do or offer to non-Hofstra employees.

It's excellent - I teach at Hofstra and see the children playing on the hofstra lawns all the time - they're so cute!

I would have loved to use them but they only take children full time, 5 days a week and I needed 3 days.

My mom works at Hofstra and knows quite a few people who use it and they are all really happy.
