Anybody know anything about buying a new car/trading in your old one?

I just got a letter in the mail offering to trade in my car for $1000 over value. It is offering me a 2005 in exchange for my 2001.

I really love my car, but am considering it because I have 1 year left of payments and my interest rate is 10 1/4%Chat Icon
becuae my credit was so bad at the time. Anyway, I have made all payments on time so I think I could get a much better interest rate so although I would have another 5 years of payments, I think they would be much lower. Does this sound right?

honestly, it's just a flyer they send out to pull people into the dealership.

The only way you'd be able to find out if you'd get a better %age rate is if you went and were actually considering buying a car

I agree with butterfly girl...Just be careful and dont rely on the information that is on the flier....Most of the time it is B.S.
