Any Spring 07' mom's thinking of #2 yet? The thought it kind of scaring me.

DH and I know we want to try for #2 this fall...but to be honest, I am scared! I think I liked not knowing what to expect with the first 1 better. I had a long, hard labor and delivery though so it may be different for girls who had it a little easier. Plus, the thought of being preggo again for 9 MONTHS...I really liked being preggo the 1st time around, but to think I will be worrying alot again over all the tests and possibilities and what if's

Does anyone else feel the way I do? It would be nice to know I'm not alone.

im not a spring 07 mom, i was a late summer early fall 07 mom, but i am thinking of #2, and im scared b/c I had really bad morning sickness with sammie. it was so bad i couldnt function.. i dont know what i would do having that plus a toddler..

I am a Nov 07 mommy and want to TTC already. .
Yes I am scared of the what if's also but I want our kids close in age. I had a long tough 9 months too but L & D wasnt as bad as I thought it would be so I am ready for #2. I am hoping now that I know what to except, the pregnancy wont be so bad and I will be able to cope with the MS and such.

I would love to try again soon...but my body isn't ready for me to just yet .
And then I look at Lily and I see how great she is...and I wonder if I can create another perfect child? Am I tempting fate to try it again?

I would love another baby, but we are financially not ready, and physically I think I need more time - I do most of this on my own, so I really need to be mentally ready on a lot of levels... We can't take TOO much time being I'm 34 and DH is 44, but we aren't going to thing about it for another year or so....

I've thought about it. I'm an only child and I turned out ok But another part of me always wanted a big family so my kids would have brothers and sisters like I didnt

i feel exactly the same ...just add a million more fears to the mix!

i'll have to have another c-section and that kicked my a$$ the first time! also i was sooo tired all the time and had insomnia while pg and i wonder how in the owrld will i be able to do it all over again while taking care of ds. and how in the world do i juggle 2 kids when 1 exhauses me.

ijust keep telling myself that everyone else does it and survives, we will too!

I had DD in June and I can't even think of TTC #2 yet. I still need "me" time...I'm not ready to give up my body again for awhile...selfish maybe, but I'm just not ready yet.

I had DS the end of June - I do think about it - but more in the sense of thinking about timing. Do I want Jack to be turning two? or three?

I don't think DH would be ready to try though if I opted for Jack turning two. Who knows. One step at a time I guess. I would really need to see how things are around the end of the summer with Jack and take it from there.

I have moments when I feel this way and moments when I can't WAIT to have another baby! I get scared about delivery, afraid my Dr is "make" me try for a vaginal delivery (which I am OH SO afraid of) even though I had a c/s with Troy. I am afraid that my 2nd pregnancy will be riddled with morning sickness (when I had NONE with Troy).

we definately want to have a second child. We plan on waiting until DD is atleast 18 months old. We really want to give her our full attention and just aren't ready for #2 yet. Nothing can really prepare you for parenthood and it hasn't always been easy - I guess we would rather take it slow than move too fast. This is one decision we want to be ready for.

i had the easiest pregnancy so i know #2 is not going to be so easy

June 07 here..... and we are currently trying. I loved being PG and DD is an angel (well~except for not sleeping through the night). I'm 34 and want 2 more so I know we need to get a move on.

We are starting to talk about #2 now. I think we are looking to try for Fall 08 to really ttc but the talk has begun. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

I was so fortuantely to have a really great pregnancy and delivery but I fear that this time around will be completely different...then of course there is the fear of how I will handle a toddler while pregnant...then two kids.

Lucas has been such an amazing baby and I am sure that he ruined us by going easy on the initiation into parenthood. Who knows if we are really prepared...kwim?

I posted a few threads on the topic in the last few weeks so obviously the thought of #2 is present.

The plan (last year!) was to try for #2 this year in late summer/early fall so we have another June baby or maybe late May.

Now that time is approaching VERY FAST, I am having some "doubts". DS would be 2 years old by the time I give birth. And 1+year while I am PG. He is heavy and I am not sure I could handle him and being PG. The other plan is to wait another year and try also in late summer. A part of me is telling to get it "over with". I am not getting any younger so I am not sure I will have the patience and energy to go through another pregnancy like #1 and I may have issues getting PG too. But on the other side, I feel I will be cheating DS of his time with me. I also just changed career and my work is too physical to be working while PG especially in the 2nd half.

DH is also recuperating from my pregnancy. He had to help a lot. Now with DS, that's even more work for all of us.

So we don't know. As of right now, I am not ready mentally and physically to be PG.

I guess I willl see how it goes over the summer.

Well once my DS turns 1, I'm not going to do anything to prevent another PG, but I also won't be actively trying. I'm going to be 36 in June so I don't know based on my age whether we'll have a hard time the next go round. (My aunt, who was in her 30s when she had her DC, had two early MCs between her DS and DD.) Plus there's a part of me that thinks I might want three--but we'll see how I feel once there are two.

DH and I have spoken about it lately, not to try now but more like when would be ideal... I had a really great delivery so I'm not afraid of that but I had TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Morning sickness...lost 10lbs, was sick for a good 6 months... that's the part that scares me the most! Another fear is that I love DD sooooooooo much I can't imagine being able to love another one as much!!

think about it allllll the time! torture myself with trying to figure out the "perfect" age difference!
DD was born in June 07. i had the perfect pregnancy so not worried about that so much.
i am pretty sure we will try this summer/fall. i really don't want to do it all over again but as horrible as this might sound i just want to get it over with! DD was a VERY high needs newborn/infant and that threw me for a major loop. i thought she was definitely going to be the only one! now i am thinking of the next one. i don't want to wait too long b/c i don't want them to be too far apart. if i didn't have to go back to work in sept. then i would actually try now as crazy as that sounds!

We are talking about it...and thinking of seriously trying again soon. Part of me is sooooo excited and part of me is scared. I had a bit of a hard time getting pregnant with DS so the thought of the shots and sonos again all the time is not something I am looking forward too.

I also had really bad MS - I vomited every single day from about 8 weeks til the day I delivered and I had preeclampsia and delivered DS 3 1/2 weeks early and my poor baby spent a week in the NICU. But.....I just love him and being a Mom so much that I know I want more kiddies and I try to put those negative things out of my head.

I had a bad pregnancy with a scare that something was wrong with DD. Then I ended up on bed rest for excess fluid and contractions. Yes I am worried about TTCing for #2 but we talked and I think fall 08 is the best time for us to TTC again. I was an only child and would like DD to have a sibling close in age.
