Where did you go to take the 1 hr glucose test?

When I was pregnant the nurse took my blood but I know that most places send you out to take it.
I remember the day... I had failed

I went to Lab Corp in Wantagh
ETA - she told me that either Lab Corp or Enzo accepted my insurance and that for some reason Quest stopped accepting it.

Same with my insurance. I liked going to Quest. It was so convienient.

I did the test right in her office. They tested me by giving me a finger stick rather than draw my blood so I knew right then and there that I passed.

Can you tell me which insurance you have? My ins co is not being very clear as to which lab they will cover 100% (FM me if you want to  )

I have United Healtcare and they used Quest last year but now will only use Lab Corp for 2007.

I have Oxford and they only use Lab Corp now. Reason being is that Quest switched the results of some blood work for a cancer patient and the wrong person ended up getting a masectomy. So for that reason, Oxford ended their contract with them. Oxford and United are basically the same so if you have either, you have to go to Lap Corp. Since the switch Lap Corp has opened so many new offices and they are clean, nice and not crowded. For my one hour and three hour I went to two different locations and there was no one in either.

I have The Empire Plan. My only issue with Lab Corp is that they STILL have not sent the results to Dr. H. They said they take forever. I took the test on Thursday and still no results. It's very annoying!!!

While I'm not a Dr. H patient, I used Labcorp for my test that I took on a Saturday and had the results by Monday both times.
