Ancestry
Has anyone been adopted themselves?
My sister has & just did Ancestry. She is almost 50 and so nervous for her to find out information. She has only had non identifying information and may soon know more....

I want to do this. I’m not adopted but found out after my mom passed away, she gave up a boy for adoption. The information died with her. I’m hoping to get a hit with this.
How did it work out for your sister?

my DD is adopted from China and she wants to do it. She is 14, I am considering it but am a bit nervous about it as well

My sister has not heard from anyone yet. I am thinking they dont check there email or see she doesnt have a tree. Not sure why they are not responding. She didnt even mention adoption when emailed people.
