After spending the night in L & D, now I'm pi$$ed.
So I spend the night in Labor and Delivery. My doctor says he wants me to rest today and call the office in the morning to schedule an ultrasound to check fluid levels. I call this morning and they say they have no openings. I explain that the doctor ordered the ultrasound. They say they will get back to me. 
I call back at noon and they say they are pulling my chart and I will get a call soon. Now it's 1:30, DH just had to leave for work, and I have no idea what to do. Do I call them again? I need to know if I can go back to work tomorrow or if I'm on permanent bedrest. Should I be mad?  Even if they call me, I have to drive myself. W T F?

I work at a dr's office, I would call them again, and tell you are not getting off the phone till you have an answer!!!!

That would make me so mad too! It sounds like they have no sense of urgency.
Call your doctor and tell them whats going on- maybe they can over to the ultrasound place and tell them you need this ultrasound now!

I would call them again. After all, if they are putting you on bedrest I would want to complete the disability forms and not have it take away from your maternity leave or sick day time.

The ultrasound is done in my office. That's why I'm not understanding where the lack of communication is.

'maternity leave?!?!?!!?' I have heard of this mystical saying, but do not comprehend what it means. My job stinks!!!

Okay, I called AGAIN and the woman starts telling me my test results from last week. I said "I'm not calling for test results!" I explained the situation AGAIN and she said "You already talked to people? And no one is calling you back?" HELLO!!!! THAT'S WHY I KEEP CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!
So then I just started crying.

ugh so annoying these dr offices need to be on the same page.. IF THE FREAKIN DR says he wants a ultra sound today then hello you have to be squeezed in..
the people who work in these offices really bother me at times keep the board updated

i called for something last week and they gave me the wrong info when they called me back err i would be as frustrated as you
