A little selfish, what did you wear for your DC 1st birthday party?
We are having Gavin's 1st birthday party April 4. Lots of pics will be taken, he only turns 1 once! I want to look good in the pictures with my son and DH.

a white linen tier skirt and a black tank top.
It was sweltering so I kept it comfy and very simple.

skinny jeans with high hills(not too high) and a cute top. I wanted to look cute , but be comfy at the same time and it worked

I wore a strapless maxi-dress that had a b&w pattern ala Diane Von Furstenberg. DS birthday is the end of May.

I was 8 months PG for my oldest 1st birthday..I wore black pants and a nice sleeveless shirt.
For my youngest,,it was July, it was HOT..i wore dark denim shorts and a dressy strapless top.
Both my parties were in my MIL backyard though.

What kind of cake are you getting?
I'll take some photos and post.
We are doing a cupcake theme so we are making lots of different kinds of cupcakes. I also bought the 3d cupcake- cake from Wilton tin and will bake a cake myself. We are also planning on using the deck to set up the food so we are for a nice day too!!! Maybe our together will work!
