Things to do in New Paltz/ Woodstock/Catskill area in November
Taking a trip during Veterans weekend in November to that area but will have kids tagging along. What activities can we do...outdoor and indoor? And any restaurant or shopping recommendations?

Storm King Art Center is in that area.
You can hike up Mohonk Mountain

There's stuff to do in the Hunter Mountain area if you will be there. Lots of hiking and bike trails. I also love Last Chance Cheese for lunch or dinner.

My SO and I went there last year around the same time. We went to Mohonk for brunch with a day pass. We have done that a couple of times. It's pretty and it's a nice view from the Skytop there down on the Mountain resort and lake. Lake Minnewaska is nice also. The Rail Explorers is in the Woodstock area, not sure if they are running then, but it's a lot of fun! They are rail bikes you pedal along the track on a guided tour. Woodstock Brewery is a good place to eat, the food was yummy! New Paltz has a lot of restaurants and some little shops. Omi Art is pretty cool, I can't remember exactly where that is, I think on the way.
