9 months old suddenly not sleeping through the night
Anyone else experience this? DD has recently started getting up 2-3 times in the middle of the night crying. Once I get to her room, I give her a paci and turn her noise machine back on and sometimes she will go back down, other times she will not. This is only recent, ever since she was 5 months old, she's slept 12 hours straight for me! I want my sleeping through the night baby back!
How do you handle this?

Could she just be teething?

It's most likely teething. I had to give DS Tylenol for a few weeks because of it. Sometimes he made it 10 hours and others it was every 2!! Try and teething ring before bed..

Re: 9 months old suddenly not sleeping through the night
Thanks for responding, ladies! One tooth recently broke through, so it could very well be another tooth trying to make its way through, but this cry is different from the teething ones in the past. In the past, when she was teething, very little would soothe her. Now just seeing my walk into her room soothes her. I've read a few articles that say it could be the beginning of separation anxiety....

It is usually teething or they are learnign something new. My DS would have crazy sleep patterns right before he crawled and walked and always with the teeth.
