Shame on the Dr. that got her pregnant! I think IVF is a wonderful tool but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

so because her and her husband faced "social stigma" cause they were childless for the past 55 years, they felt they HAD to have a baby at 70 and 72??
i'm sorry, i don't care what anyone says, that is a selfish and terrible reason to have a baby.....and at their age, they'll be lucky to see their child reach 1st grade.

I agree. And IF treatments have been around for 25+ years, why didn't they try this before?

I read this article earlier today and I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds this utterly disgusting and even more selfish!!
I thinks it's really sad that this kid will mostly likely have to bury their parents before they even out of grade school. And who's gonna care for them, their 90 yr old aunt?!!!
So selfish!!!!

Did they get pregnant solely to carry on the bloodline? I can't think that someone of that age would want to go through the stress of pregnancy, newborn witching hours, chasing a toddler, etc...
They look like they are going to croak any minute just sitting there.
