FB Help-How can I remove my location in status updates?
When I post a status it says what town I am in or around How do I disable that. I am not a fan of that feature. Thanks you in advance.

I believe that you can turn it off each time you post a status. There should be an "X" Under the status box. Once you remove it, I believe it will be removed until you put another city name in.

I did it somehow in my privacy settings, I think...
It came up as a pop up across the top of my fb page that a location was now being added to my posts if I wanted to turn it off "click here" so I clicked there.

This. When you post your status update, click the X to take the city out and it won't come back.
