how often do you feel your baby move at 23 weeks?

I will be 23 weeks tomorrow and I don't feel the baby move every day. Is there something wrong with this? I felt him 2 days ago with strong kicks throughout the day, yesterday was much more calmer, just a few barely noticeable ones and nothing today.Chat Icon

Also, how does moving and walking affect baby movements? I thought that being active will make baby move more, but just read somewhere otherwise. I was not really active these past days, just laying and sleeping a lot.

I never even felt the baby move until I was almost 22 weeks but I felt him, it was pretty much daily. Sometimes I would push on my belly and poke at it to make him move though.

I feel him every few hours -- mostly when I'm relaxed.. either laying on the couch or in bed.

I feel the baby a lot but I have felt consistent daily movement since 18 weeks. I do not think that is the norm though. I feel that the less active I am the more I feel movement. When I am active, I really do not feel much. I really do not think you have anything to worry aboutChat Icon

I posted a similar question a month back.. I was worried as well. The baby moves, but we don't always feel it Chat Icon and for me it wasn't consistent until like 25 to 26 weeks. Chat Icon I usually have to be relaxed, legs elevated I can feel the movements. I noticed icecream gets mine moving Chat Icon Chat Icon

i am a little over 23 weeks and just started feeling movement in the last 2 weeks. it's on and off. i usually don't feel him until night time after dinner and when i am going to bed. definitely not consistent. i just had my OB appointment today and mentioned it. he said that was perfectly normal.Chat Icon

Same for me. Also, baby moves a lot after I eat.

Re: how often do you feel your baby move at 23 weeks?

I'm 22w6d today and within the past week I feel him a lot more, and with in the past 3 days A LOT A LOT. I feel him more when i'm just relaxing or after I eat, but especially at night. He is a night owl lol. I don't really feel him when i'm out and about or doing things. Walking around soothes them to sleep and even if I didn't believe that before I do since DD was born. WHen she was fussy I would rock her walk around the house like she was in my belly and she would be out in a second! When was your last u/s? It could be your placenta is anterior or the baby is facing your back and you only feel them when they roll. That's pretty common too. My OB doesn't start to get "worried" about movement until 28wks and then they have a pretty strict kicks monitor you have to do everyday.

I'm 23 weeks with Chat Icon Chat Icon and I don't feel consistent movement even with 2!!!! I was actually getting worried on Sunday because I didn't feel them move at all. Then Monday they were moving like crazy. Now today, they are quiet again. Uuggh! I hate worrying.

I'm just starting to feel little bubbles down really low at 24weeks. It's only a few times a day for a few seconds.

I have anterior placenta and I'm overweight so that factors in.
