How long does it usually take you to get your hair cut and colored?
Just curious what the average is.
I went this morning and got my hair colored and cut - nothing fancy...single process color, hair cut, blown dry. And it took over 2 hours. I know I have thick hair, but I'm wondering if that's the average, or if my husband is right and that's a really long time!

I get highlights and I was last there on Father's Day and I was seen at 11:45 am and didn't get out until almost 3
Forget Dominican Salons! You're there the whole damn day!

It takes about 2 hours for me too. SOOO frustrating. Last time I had to wait 30 minutes before they took me. I was so mad and I was literally starting to get up to walk out.

Funny you ask!
I was at my salon on Sat. for a touch up, highlights and a cut. My appointment was at 2:30pm and I was finally finished at almost 7pm

if you have long thick hair yes about 2 hours.
time to consult and apply...then 30 to process..shampoo conditioner..then 30 min to an hour for cut and blowout :)

About 2 hours. This is why I never do it- I hate sitting there for so long! But thank you for reminding me to make an appointment for this weekend!

2 to 2 1/2 hours for me.
I know because it's generally the only quiet, alone time I get and I cherish every minute.

I recently got a partial highlight/lowlight and a cut- and I was there for over 2 hours!
And if I get a full highlight/lowlight- then it can take almost 4 hours!

3+ hours. (sometimes 2.5, but never less)
Color, highlights, cut, blow-out.
I have long straight hair, medium thickness.

Just had a cut and color today and it took about 1 1/2 hrs. When I used to get highlights it would take over 2 hrs.

I am a hairdresser, I schedule clients 90 min for a single process color and a haircut. Some take less if they have finer hair(a lot quicker to dry)

THICK long hair... hi-lites (just a retouch), glaze, cut, blow out takes about 3-4 hours.
Dont even ask me how long it takes when i have to get a full head
