early pregnancy symptoms-Breaking out
Hi ladies,
I am only 5 weeks pregnant but I've noticed that lately I have been breaking out all over my face-especially my forehead and chin. Anyone else experience this?
I don't remember me breaking out this bad with my DD.

Totally normal. All the hormones
Actually, after the breakout my skin then clears up and I have very clear skin through the entire pregnancy. Hopefully it'll be the same with you.

I have this! I'm about 5.5 weeks and I have acne all over my forehead. It's terrible! I'm hoping it gets better. The worst is we aren't supposed to use acne wash.

Like I was 14 years old again! It was like from the moment I found out I was expecting my face broke out. It's gotten a bit better towards the end though!
Someone on here recommended Alpha Hydrox face soap. I got it on drugstore.com. It worked pretty well for me!

Crashing!
I used to have great skin. When I got pregnant with DS, I broke out like a teen! Maybe worse!!!!!
The worst part was that it didn't clear up until 10-12 months post partum!  It was horrible. In fact, I just recenly broke out like crazy on my face and I took a pg test to make sure I wasn't pregnant again, lol!

I know!!! What are you using??
I used to use Proactiv. I cheated a few times here and there and just used the face wash where the acne is and skipped the toner and lotion but I feel so guilty doing that! I bought Clean & Clear Morning Burst because I didn't see benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid listed in the ingredients. I've been using that and Dove. It's not helping though

ugh yes!! and it is so frustrating that we can hardly use anything!! trader joes has a line of skin care products and one has tee tree oil in it which is "supposed" to help. i still look like im in 8th grade though

Ew me!!!! I had GREAT skin, I didn't even get pimples as a teenager and now they are everywhere. They are slowing down (I am 9 weeks now).

I had this, it got so bad my face hurt but it was gone 1/2 way into the 2nd tri hang in there it'll be gone soon!
