Dh is sick AGAIN!!!!! Can you get the flu twice or is it the stomach bug going around?
He and the boys had the flu the week of Christmas. He came home tonight with a fever, chills, body aches and feels nauseous. Sounds like the flu but I thought you can't get it twice??? Are people getting fevers with the stomach virus going around? Uggghhh...I don't want the kids or myself to get sick. I just got over pneumonia.

My 33 yr. old Son just had a bug. About two days ago, he was vomiting; Yesterday, he said he felt feverish, and his stomach was gurgling, and today he had a headache. Mary

PS You can get the flu twice in one season, but it has to be a different strain/type of the flu virus. Mary

There are several viruses going around this winter and boy are they NASTY! I haven't seen a flu/gastro season like this in years. Kids and adults alike are getting sick, unlike some of these viruses that seem to effect one population more than another.
I'm sorry he is sick again, just keep giving him motrin or tylenol and stay hydrated.
