AF cramps 5 days after IUI
Does anyone have experience with having AF cramps after IUI and them getting stronger? I totally feel like AF should be here soon, but I am only 5 days post IUI.

I know many women here have felt cramps 5 to 7 days after ovulation and they turned out to be implantation cramps!

I had AF cramps after I had IVF and thought for sure it didnt work....well it did work and I have the triplets. The cramps can very well be implantation. Good luck to you

I've had cramping both times I did IUI's. I was also on crinone which may make you crampy. I think there is really no way to tell what's going on down there! I hope yours is implantation cramping!

Cramps can be very good!! FX for you!! I will however echo what the PP said..I was on Crinone last cycle and I had cramps that were out of this world. Never had cramps like that on the p4 vaginal supp.

No cramps for me, then again I did have failed IUI. So I would guess that it is a great sign to have cramps!!!!!  for implantation cramps!!!

The progesterone gave me cramps. I generally had pre-AF kind of symptoms while on it.

It's VERY hard to read into signs when you're taking drugs that could cause the same things! I'm not trying to be the downer here, it COULD implantation ... but it could also be from the progesterone or just some normal post-o cramps, etc.
After my last cycle I decided I will try my hardest next time not to read into anything because I really did believe I was pregnant with all the random signs I started feeling at 7dpo. The more you psyche yourself up for the double line, the more it stings if you don't get get pregnant that cycle.
Hopefully this is it for you but really do ANYTHING you can think of to get your mind off 2ww signs!! I know what I hypocrite I must sound like right now since I sat around over analyzing every twinge but really it's for the best!

ITA.. its sooo hard not to read into things.
but i think we end up driving ourselves even more crazy if we try to analyze symptoms, especially while on hormones!
for example.. i usually don't get many symptoms when i O or before AF that most ladies do. However today (i'm about cd 24 now, 10 DPIUI) i have super sore boobs. I was in the shower this morning thinking 'wow, wonder if this is a sign that im pregnant because i never get any symptoms like this'
but then i realized that sore boobs can be caused by the Crinone i'm on.. so i really really try not to read too much into it. Mainly to lessen the disappointment when it turns out that it was nothing.
But that's the realist in me!
Of course, we all hope its something anyway!!
