Donating Baby Items

We are moving so I'm getting rid of a bunch of items. I called my church and they are going to come take the baby clothes I no longer need.

I have a stroller and an exersaucer and maybe some other small things to donate. They won't take these items.

Is there anywhere I can donate them?

Is there a way I can find where there's a shelter? I would love to donate it there, but I don't know of any.

Thanks so much I will give them a call. I would rather someone get use out of them than throw them out.

Don't know if your DD goes to daycare or not, but you could always give them to her school to use if you can't donate them to a shelter.

THE LIFE CENTER OF LONG ISLAND
Is in desperate need of:
CRIBS
DIAPERS (All Sizes)
• Infant Car Seats
• Baby Toiletries
• Layette Items
• Strollers
• Wipes
Donations can be brought to 1767 Deer Park Ave in Deer Park. To contact them, call 631-243-2373.

I would try them - I was surprised to see that they take car seats - a lot of places don't anymore.

Re: Donating Baby Items

I donate my large items to a local church (local to you too) that sells the items and donates the money, or donates to needy families. Let me know if you want the info. Chat Icon

Can you give me the info?

I called the other numbers and no one is taking donations right now. Thanks.

There's always freecycle...

I even put up my old changing table pad & cover & there was someone who needed it & took it...

Re: Donating Baby Items

The church in centerport (our queen lady of mercy- I think that's the name) takes items as well. I don't know where you are though.

- I'm the worst, I never read fully. Centerport is a little far from you.
