Are babies born with dimples or do they form ???
My Dh has 2 adorable dimples in his cheeks ( face  ) and I could have sworn today that when my DD smiled I saw one in one of her cheeks  ...Are they born with them or does it happen over time ? My DS doesnt have any yet ( 3y) but my step-daughter does ....

Both.
DD was born with a dimple on her left cheek (still don't know where it came from but it's so cute!) and my girlfriend's DD's dimples didn't show up until she was almost a year old.
My DD's dimple is deeper than my friend's DD's are.

They are born with them! My best friends daughter had two HUGE ones on her cheeks when she was born. So cute!!

I don't know if my DS had it at birth, but he has had one strong one in his cheek since he was pretty young - a few weeks old.

I was born with mine. I noticed a dimple on my friends son when he was 1 day old now at 20 months old he still has those adorable dimples!

My son was born with dimples. You could actually see his dimples in his 3D sono.

My husband has deep dimples-my favorite part of him-he used to be called pencil point cheeks! My daughter was also born with deep dimples-we noticed them as soon as she was born, my son doesn't have any.

Athan was born with what I call "dimples" on both his shoulders - in the back at the shoulder joint. I have them and my dad has them and he has them too. He didn't get dimples on his cheeks - like I have... yet at least

I wanna say that she was born w/ them- but b/c you can only see them when she really smiles, we didn't see them until she was at least 1 or 1 1/2 months old.
