How much to donate to church for Baptism? POLL
How much is a good donation to a church for a baby's baptism? It is a small Lutheran church, and they don't suggest anything, but I will obviously donate something.
If it helps, since I am a member of the church, the suggested donation for our wedding was $500.

I never gave a donation..it was optional.
I did however donate food and clothes to their outreach program.

I think our wedding donation was $500 also, we gave $100 for our DD's Christening

We didn't donate anything - at the time, DH was out of work & I was out on maternity leave, so things were really tight. It was more important to have the baby christened so I didn't feel bad about not donating - when, in the future, we can, we will.

good question.... we haven't thought of that yet, and DS's baptism is this month 
OK, this poll confirms my fleeting thought that it should be about $100
