3-6 month old Crib toys???

DS is almost 4 months old and I've been reading that I should remove the mobile and put some crib toys in that he can grab and interact with.

Please share your favorites?

I do have in there the FP Aquarium but he's not ready to push the single button on his own yet so that's just a look and listen "toy".

Not sure if I should put in a couple of his favorite loose soft rattles for grabbing or shaking or if I should look into some kind of mirror kick thing that attaches to the rails?

Thanks! Chat Icon

I didnt want to confuse her with her crib so I kept toys separate. She has her mobile, her FP aquarium and a stuffed frog in there. Oh and her lovey that she sleeps with.

I didnt want her to think "play time" when she was in her crib.

My DD loves this crib mirror...

crib mirror

She likes to look at herself and she spins the ball when she's falling asleep.

I was thinking the toys separate thing but something like that mirror would be cute. DS wakes up and "talks" to the sock monkeys on his bumpers which gives me a little more sleep time and I'm wondering if he may get bored when he realizes the monkeys are never going to talk back!!! Chat Icon

DS has the Fisher Price Precious Planet Kick & Play Piano. I highly recommend it! Its great -- all he has to do is kick it and it lights up and plays songs. its really cute and keeps him pretty occupied. I might add a mirror to the crib as well since he's infatuated with looking at himself in the mirror. Apparently he finds himself hilarious b.c when he looks in a mirror he just cracks up Chat Icon Chat Icon So, i think a crib mirror might be entertaining for him.

DS loves the FP Aquarium. I put it on before he falls asleep and he falls asleep to it. It's great!
