Vicks cool mist humidifier...why does it leak???
Am I doing something wrong? Every morning my wood floors are soaked!

Mine did weird things like that too. I'd have puddles or all the furniture would be wet. Not sure why. I broke it and we had to buy a new one - we bought Holmes Cool Mist for small rooms from Sears and have been so much happier. I am so glad I broke the Vicks one!

I think that's the one we just bought.  We had the Crane cow one and that was leaking water everywhere. So far no problems with this one.

Mine was leaking when I didn't have the black band around the inside the right way..
