Considering majority of this board only posts when Biden does something amazing or trump does something wrong, can’t say I’m surprised they are so quiet after that conference. And for the rest of us, if we post about how terrible it is than we are horrible people. Just not worth it sometimes.

There’s a lot of things I’ve wanted to hear the other sides point of view and same thing, crickets. I genuinely enjoy hearing opposite opinions (of some people) because it does help me understand why people feel the way they do about certain things.

Because they have nothing positive to say about it, or Biden. They are just glad it is not Trump.
Biden was all for granting citizenship to all these immigrants, but has NO plan put in place? Did he have a plan on what was going to happen to them when the caravan finally reached American borders? Sure does not seem like it. That is why there is hardly any footage of the conditions they are living in. That is something the media does NOT want us to know!

Nobody is saying the country doesn't have problems or issues, but no worse than under Trump. To act like the world is falling apart since Biden took office is silliness.
What we don't have anymore is a madman sitting in the WH spouting off unhinged insanity on Twitter and doing everything BUT his job. So in that respect, there is no chaos. Biden is chugging along, doing his job and letting those in his cabinet do theirs. You know, like a normal president does. 
BTW ------- With regards to COVID, sorry but I'd rip Trump apart too. This pandemic was on HIS watch, his ineptitude costs hundreds of thousands of lives. Biden cannot be blamed for the mishandling of the pandemic, he's at least doing everything he can to increase available doses and get them out to people. The Trump administration dropped the ball with vaccine distribution.

He is doing whatever they are telling him to do. He was told who to be called on for the easy questions, which he could barely even do.
We’ve got a joke of a VP who laughs about the border crisis and puts Clinton in charge of empowering women. Are you serious?

It’s funny because I didn’t realize who I was responding to on FHF. I just answered the question. I think the people who like drama are the ones who engage and start it when she posts. Are we suppose to vet a poster before we respond to a thread?

Exactly and that she is a brand new poster. To answer Little Diva, yes I think it is fair to assume that any new poster who comes onto the politics board shortly after VB is banned, yet again, is VB. You think someone just happened to stumble across this board and say wow, looks like no one has been commenting on the Politics board in awhile? Come on!!!

I'll address why I think the board is "dead" although I can only speak for myself.
I think it's natural that unhappy people will want to vent while people who are overall satisfied might be less inclined to do so. I'm around long enough to remember when we discussed politics without needing a separate board so it's just more pronounced now, but it's always been that way.
I enjoy sparring with posters like Karenk122 and Lululu (and others I might be forgetting) who I often disagree with but have shown they believe that truth matters. But when the board is dominated by people who perpetuate misinformation, disinformation, and falsehoods, I lose interest. There are, right now, multiple falsehoods in the border post and nothing I say will convince anyone that they are wrong. What's the point? Why banter with someone who comes on here talking about how "OMG gas prices are going to go up!" and "the capital attack wasn't planned" or "I heard it on Tucker Carlson and he speaks the truth!" They don't care that gas prices have almost nothing to do with who is president, or that there is ample evidence the attack was planned, or that TC is entertainment, not real news. If we don't operate from a shared set of facts, it's simply not worth trying to have a conversation.
On a personal note, I'm in a NYC high school and therefore back to the building full time so I lost free time to my commute. It's LIF or exercise, and as much as I enjoy chatting with most of you, exercise wins. But I'm only one person and don't know what everyone else's story is (not that it would be my business to share if I did.)
I'll post progressive actions when I think about it because Biden is far from perfect (and doesn't control everything anyway) but that's about it.
