Did you give a gift to the seller or did the sellers leave you a gift?
We are not high on the money tree but still want to give the sellers a little something for picking our bid and for not giving us too many problems during the process. I remember them talking about feng shui and stuff, so I got them a piece of citrine for their new home to absorb any negative energy. It was less then 10$. Is that silly?

Thats very sweet of you! When we bought our house the sellers left a nice letter and a bottle of champagne in a basket. It made us both cry!

I think that is very sweet. It didn't even occur to me to give the sellers anything- and I only met the male owner once, briefly. They weren't even at our closing. But they did leave a bottle of champagne for us.

that is very nice of you. our seller was not so nice, she was not even at the closing. we did not give her anything nor did she do anything for us. in fact, she took stuff she was not supposed to take.
