Can you get a vericose vein in the bottom of your foot?

For the past couple days I've had trouble walking. On the bottom of my foot on the inside, kinda in the arch, it hurts when I put pressure on it and kinda feels like it's bruised. My feet are just a little bit swollen and I don't see anything...but I was thinking maybe a swollen vein or something....can you get a vericose vein in the bottom of your foot like that?

I am not sure but I have noticed them on the top of my feet which I thought was weird as well. I am only 19 weeks and I haven't gained that much weight so I don't understand?

Varicose and swollen veins are 2 different things.

You will need to see a Dr. to confirm.

If it was varicose, you would see the vein sticking out and it would be purple. A spider vein, looks like broken capillaries.

If your arch hurts it's prob the muscle/ligament in your arch stretching.
Try to wear supportive shoes with arch support and lay off heels, flip flops anything that doesn't support the foot very well.

That ligament can "fall".. this has happened to my FIL and is very painful. Not to scare you thoughChat Icon Chat Icon

If it hurts more than a week, i'd go to the doc.
