104.7-I hate feeling so helpless
So Sabrina woke up with 104.7. I gave her Motrin and the Amoxicillin. The fever dropped a bit but only down to 103.2. I gave her Tylenol as per the ped's instruction. She is so sleepy. She ate a handful of Cheerios and had some orange juice. She nursed well this morning. But I hate seeing her like this.
Thankfully my dad came over and is with her now. He usually watches her on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so he figured he would just come to me.
I know it is not the end of the world but please keep her in your thoughts. I hate seeing her like this.

ive been there. my dd would always get 104 fevers when she had an ear infection. just keep her hydrated. dont worry about her eating.and keeping rotating the motrin with the tylenol. it will go down.

Hope she's feeling better. Just a heads up, coxsackie is going around. DS just had it and his first symptom was a real high fever.

So the fever broke and she has been eating, drinking and running around BUT I know we are not out of the woods yet.
THanks for the well wishes. It feels good to have a support system.

they scare the crapola out of me.

have you tried motrin? That usually works quickly for high fevers.
