What do you serve with pot roast?
I am attempting my first crockpot pot roast tomorrow. I have never eaten pot roast in my life! What do you serve with it? It already has veggies & potatoes in it so I was thinking buttered noodles?

I always just have bread & butter with it or something like that ---- if I'm feeling adventerous I'll make bread in the breadmachine.

If you already have the potatoes and veggies, then you can do egg noodles and crescent rolls!

we're having the same thing tonight! we got a big one ( 4 pounds) for just 2 of us. we wanted to have leftovers so i don't have to cook wednesday night either 
i think if you have potatoes and carrots in there, thats all ya need. you already have your meats and veggies- maybe some rolls if you really need something else... enjoy!!
BTW- what do you put in with the roast for a "sauce"? we just put some worchershire and some beef broth... but we're always looking for new ideas

I put a packet of Lipton onion soup, water & worchershire cooked it for a few hours and added 1/2 a can each of Campbell's cream of mushroom & cream of celery. Nice consistency. Also, I served it w/ buttered noodles and fresh bread. It was good

Noodles or mashed ... I don't make my pot roast with potatoes.
And I always need some sort of bread product to dip in the gravy.

DH's family makes Gingersnap gravy (which I had never heard of in my life and I personally do not like but I don't like sweet stuff). Just add some gingersnaps to the crockpot or pressure cooker and it makes the gravy sweet and thick.
