10 years ago.....
this past Monday,Sept 26th, we took my Dad off life support... He went into cardiac arrest on Sept 23rd, 2001. (My 27th birthday) He was pronounced brain dead that day. I couldn't believe I was losing my best friend.. I had the hardest time. I let loose on the dr's who put him there and I went home and cried for 2 days straight. The rest of the week was a blur... I have been so busy with life that I forgot to go to the cemetery on Monday. I just realized it today and I am devastated.. I have never missed a holiday or anniversary...I feel so bad and sad...

I just lost my dad in July (he also had a heart attack) and his birthday just passed on the 21st. I didn't get to visit the cemetery that day either. I was upset too, but I went a few days later.
Please don't fell sad about not being there! I'm sure he is looking down on you and knows how much you miss him.
