To start a thread to shame people for doing good deeds is really sad and mind boggling. Think about it.

It wasn't to shame people for doing good deeds... it was to shame people for bragging about it!

Why shame anyone for DOING GOOD? And inspiring others! Why the hate for that? Obviously very few agree with this post. It's nothing but hateful - there was absolutley no point for this post other than to make someone feel bad for doing good

I didn't say whether I agreed with it or not. I was simply pointing out the error in Bugaboo's statement.

But why get your panties in such a bunch over this post? Who cares????? I'm sure Golden will still continue to donate blood and he will still continue to post about it. Just move on.....

And if you go on and on and on about how WW is a horrible human being and she is pathetic and why do I stick up for her all the time, ask yourself why you bother to keep responding to her? It clearly can't be healthy if someone makes you this upset. IRL that is a person that you would cut out of your life. You wouldn't continue to respond over and over.

The irony of you telling others not to get their "panties in a bunch" or care about what someone says while YOU repeatedly post on these threads VERY OBVIOUSLY caring about what everyone says when it comes to WW is pretty amusing. Oh hi pot, meet the kettle!!!

If people go after WW for whatever reason, "WHY DO YOU CARE?" "Why get your panties in a bunch?" After all, "I am sure WW will still continue to post her nonsense" regardless. You really should just "move on". I mean seriously, it's "clearly not healthy that you get this upset over what others say". I don't know why you respond to everyone over and over, just "cut this thread out of your life."

Scroll on. Don't get so worked up. Ya know, take your own advice. Chat Icon

Just like I must be misreading all of your posts, you are clearly misreading mine. I don't recall one post on this thread where I seem upset by anything. Also, if you are going to use quotes you should write exactly what I said inside the quotes, as that is the point of quoting something. Also, just so you know, the word is audacity. Not ordacity.

You better hurry along and touch up your make up before your hubby gets home!

Once again she was not done lololol

I love how not liking when people brag to not liking good deeds. SMH. The same day a thread was put up, that some forgot they posted to (but then again she forgot she posted to me over 20 times when she claims she just passed my threads and posts lol) I had just done a good deed. I said there is no way I would post as I didn’t do it to tell others as I did it for the other person and it felt wonderful I helped a family. I could have given the suggestion to do the same, but, why? Can’t adults figure out what a good deed is and find out how to do it? It’s not rocket science.

I don’t consider giving blood and telling people as bragging. It’s a PSA to me. It gets the word out and since there is a shortage going on, many people may not know that. I know I didn’t know there was a shortage.

People know as my job is having a day sometime this month and even if I didn’t know and wanted to donate, I could find out. People want other people to do everything for them now.
You probably don’t know about things like this because you don’t live here.

Dang Kling, she got you again with the whole " you don't even live here" thing. That HAS to be getting old. She's run out of things to get at you I guess.. what a waste. Pretty sure the blood shortage isn't isolated to LI.

VB/windy/hazel........... Never in my life have I come across someone so certifiably crazy on a forum until you. There is definitely something not right with you.

Your comments are odd, your repetitive toddler like questions are strange, your utter obsession with people's homes, children, marriages, money and personal lives is creepy, your constant need for attention from strangers is desperate and your endless, rapid fire posting even when nobody is replying to you is just sad. You're a head case.

You try very hard to make everyone believe how much smarter you are than them, how much "cooler" you are than them, how much of a better parent you are than them, how much more experienced you are than them and how much more fabulous your life is than theirs. It's beyond strange and reeks of utter desperation and blazing insecurity. I pity you. Truly, I do.

I'm not going to continue with this little pissing match that you so enjoy and waste my day. Your comments are nonsense, your craving for constant drama is getting old and your fabricated bullied and victimized routine is just boring at this point.

Enjoy your day. I'm done with you.

Smarter than all? No, smarter than some? Yup. More informed of many things, absolutely.

Cooler? Hmmm never thought if it because what makes someone cool? Explain and I can answer that then.

Better parent? Nope. I think I am like every other parent who some days think I am doing good and other days think I am failing.

Experienced in parenting? absolutely as I have been doing it for over 20 years....soooo.... didn’t say I know it all but am experienced in many things that parents of younger kids have not gone through yet. Smaller kids, smaller problems, bigger kids, bigger problems.

Fabulous life? Sometimes and sometimes not. I have fun and I don’t think that is a bad thing. Some days I am a homebody, some days I go out and party and have fun.

I am not fake, I am real and I will tell you the bad parts of life and don’t walk around telling everyone how wonderful everything is. I am old enough to know that the more people have to push how perfect their lives are, the most issues they have behind closed doors.I feel bad for those people who can’t be real and help others.

Shucks, she got me again. There is a shortage in the world (at least I know they eased up limits on who can donate here). But what do I know? I might as well live on Mars according to her.

Just an honest question but why is someone who lives in Germany on a Long Island specific forum? Truly curious.

I know people here used to live here and are in NJ now or CT or Ma but whats your story.

I grew up there, and I moved onto LIF after LIW because I got married on LI in 2006. There were a few others from England that were on here and I became friendly with them because I was in Australia after LI, and there are some similarities.
