Savannah or Charleston?
Anyone been? Where would you recommend to stay? Its for a girls weekend getaway...so lots of drinking and eating. No kids! Woo hoo!

I've been to both and I would vote for Charleston. Was there recently for a girls trip and had a great time. Have fun!

Haven't been to Savannah but I love Charleston. The Bennett is amazing and in a great location.

This looks awesome. Do you think it's good for a girls getaway? It looks like its more of a couples spot but I'm just judging from the website.

It's in a great spot near tons of restaurants and shopping. There is a nice rooftop bar and pool. I would definitely do it for a girls weekend. The Belmond is also really nice.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with either. I loved Savannah, though.

I have been to both as I have family down there. That being said, the last time I was in Charleston was about 37 years ago, lol. I have been to Savannah many times (family moved there), so I suggest going there. River Street is really nice and downtown Savannah, too. I really liked Bonaventure cemetery, but I am a cemetery person and always visit whenever I pass one.
If you have time you can visit both, IMO. If you love Civil War history, there is a lot to see in both places.

Savannah or Charleston?
I have been to both and I have preferred Savannah by far. Hotel Indigo was nice and super affordable. It was close to River Street all of the main go to areas. It was a blast!
