It’s sad. He’s said that he has Bipolar Disorder. I saw that Kim came out with a statement that seemed very supportive.

I guess that might explain announcement that he wants to run for President.
Hopefully he gets back on his meds or gets them adjusted. That's sad.

On the negative side, he has to go through his issues in public, with the entire country judging him. Most people don't understand mental illnesses, so many will just point and laugh at him.
On the positive side, hopefully this will bring some more light to mental illness. So many people have varying degrees of mental illnesses, but it's such a taboo subject in the US.

i won't lie. i pointed and laughed, initially.
now that i better understand what is happening, i feel bad that i did judge.
yes, the blessing and curse is that it's happening so publicly. hopefully, more people will start to see mental illness in a different light.

As much as I can't stand him and this family, seeing him like this is very sad. I hope he gets the help he needs. It's hard when they refuse to take their meds. Which it seems is the case here.

Just curious, do you think he is misdiagnosed and has a different mental illness or that he's not mentally ill at all? I think he clearly displays delusions of grandeur and episodes of mania. He also makes reference to having depression and suicidal idealization. It doesn't seem so far fetched to me.

good question, I dont follow him, and he might have depression and has had suicidal ideation but I don't believe he's bi polar. Part of me thinks his behavior is for "rating" as much as I hate to say this. Of course I don't have all the facts and would never diagnosis someone.

Seeing the photos of Kim crying in the car when she went to visit him was sad to see also. The men in the Kardashian family all seem to struggle.

It's clear he is bipolar, or something very close, and he has been for many years. This is nothing new. It was WAAAAAAYYYYYYY before he married Kim. By all accounts he always had mental problems, but when his mother died it seemed to be the trigger. I think that whole family are attention whores, and literal whores, but in this case I would be shocked if he's been faking it last 15 years.

This has been going on for many years. No one hates the Kardashians more than I do, but this is clearly not what they want. They are keeping his current downward spiral out of their show. He's not even with the family right now.
This is heartbreaking to watch, and people saying it's just for entertainment value and ratings are doing him (and mental illness in general) a huge disservice.
