The video shows her not even parking correctly, so far from the dock and then the son trailing behind. Maybe I was a crazy mother when my kids were that age but anywhere near water and in a parking lot, I would have them be so close to me.
I am surprised she wouldn’t take her phone as she was very much into taking IG pics of herself so I would think this would be a great opportunity to have pics of her and the son.
Very sad story overall and I hope they find her body for closure to the family.
I thought the same thing. I was confused by her parking situation and it’s strange that she left her purse in the car with all it’s contents.

She probably rented and paid online. The reservation is usually for a specific time, so it's not like someone can show up and take the boat someone else rented. I'm sure they would check ID if 2 people showed up claiming to be the same person, but IME it normally isn't like a super secure thing with them checking IDs and what not.

So sad. This story is terrible. Can you imagine realizing you are going to drown knowing your 4 year old is by himself on a boat?  I'm glad he is safe.

I know. It’s so sad and scary. It sucks that it is confirmed she is gone but I’m glad they were able to recover her body and offer the family some type of closure.

Yeah - especially if they never found the body I'm sure there would be conspiracy theories about how she faked her death to start over somewhere else.

Now this morning they said they knew where to look for her from her pictures on her phone that day. So she must have had it even they news sources said she didn’t.

Now this morning they said they knew where to look for her from her pictures on her phone that day. So she must have had it even they news sources said she didn’t.
I just read another article about it and it said they found her bag and wallet (with her ID) on the boat. I don't know why the first reports said she left everything in the car.
