Home Chef

I ordered Home Chef for the first time this week because of a great discount code. I have never used one of these meal delivery services before. So far the recipes/food has been good, but we are finding it to be very salty. Any opinions on it?? I’m thinking of canceling after this week or maybe giving it another try for one more week.

Re: Home Chef

Maybe reduce the amount of salt so it fits your tastebuds?

I used to get it delivered and loved their recipes. I didnt have that issue. I always added salt so maybe, I like saltier food than you do. I know I can find something extremely salty and my DH thinks the food taste fine.

I haven’t even added any salt on my own lol. I’ve used their taco seasoning blend, panko breadcrumbs and cheeses, which I guess is where all the salt is coming from. I usually buy the low sodium taco seasoning myself, so I guess we’re not used to all the salt. The recipes have been great and easy though.

Oh, their taco blend is probably salty. I know the ones I buy in the store are and I sometimes don't use the whole pack or use more meat.
